Issue One
Welcome to the very first issue of SoWhat London. It’s the result of more than a years work, and many more talked about, now realised. We’ve called it the ‘Luck’ Issue, owing to it’s featured role in us arriving here: ten short pieces we love, about an hours length in full, a first issue we’re proud to present.
SoWhat London will preside henceforth in place of any amounts of our small talk and perceived pipe-dreaming.
Blair, Charlie, Oliver.

Lady Luck
‘Lady Luck’ is a collaborative project between SoWhat, Pew36 animation studio and comic book artist Andy Blundell. It is a creative experiment, set in four parts. Each team or person was asked to create a part of the story based on what had come before. No further guidelines were given, and the nature of the task meant that no one entity was in control of the project, neither its narrative direction nor visual style. What resulted was a unique and increasingly bizarre insight into the world of Ray and Stanley, two desperate old criminals looking for luck in all the wrong places.
